14. New Multi-Rack 2D Tube reader

FluidX – XTR-RACK TETRA FLEX

Unlike any other multi-rack reader, the XTR-RACK

TETRA FLEX is fitted with four linear barcode readers

to positively verify rack location & orientation. The

only Multi Rack reader that can tell you where each

rack was placed!

Features common to all XTR-RACK FLEX readers:

• Compatible with all 2D bar coded tubes

in SBS rack format.

• Results can be viewed directly or integrated with other applications, such as Excel.

• FluidX racks supplied with 2D Data Matrix code identifier which can be read

simultaneously to provide automatic rack orientation and more.

• “No tube” feature, able to discriminate between tube with a barcode that cannot be

decoded and a rack position with no tube.

• User templates for applications where partially filled racks are routinely decoded.

• CRYO VERSION available with integrated frost reduction system allowing multiple racks to

be read straight from freezer without build-up of frost or condensation on the underside

of the glass.
